The double seal (DS) range of Brass, Nickel Plated glands constructed with a double seal which provides a wide range of clamping options. Available in both Metric and Pg thread styles this series is offered with a choice of seal to give a choice of operating temperatures.
The standard seal is Nitrile rubber giving an operating temperature of -40 Deg C to + 100 Deg C, in addition to this a special order Silicone rubber seal is available which offer a temperature range of -40Deg C to + 300 Deg C.

The Bimed EMC cable gland combines the same IP68 protection and clamping range as the standard nickel plated brass gland but with the added benefit of EMC protection.

Bimed Metallic Liquid Tight Conduit Fittings
The metallic liquid tight fittings are produced with a grounding ferrule and liquid tight seal. The grounding ferrule enables the maximum surface area contact between the conduit and fitting thus achieving a better seal and grounding. This product is available with NPT, Pg or Metric threads.

In addition to one of the broadest ranges of standard products in the industry Bimed has the ability to design and manufacture bespoke cable glands especially for customer applications.
Many of the products manufactured by Bimed are designed and manufactured for special applications. These custom parts can be produced by either modifying existing injection tools or realising compley new tools.

These cable glands are used when EMI suppression is required especially for electronic device applications. The interference filter is usually separay added to the existing cable and must be fixed in order to prevent axial movements on the cable.
In this cable gland, the ferrite bead is inserted directly into the gland cap. Hence it s motion is limited by the cap itself. This way, an easy and reliable assembly method is achieved.
These values depend on the ferrite core characteristics, hence the bead material can be chosen according to the requirements; Bimed can produce different sizes of glands with different EMI suppression values in relation to the required properties.
