聚酰亚胺是一类含有酰胺基的新型工程塑料。由于聚酰亚胺分子中具有十分稳定的芳杂环结构,使其表现出其它高分子材料所无法比拟的耐热性和耐低温性,其热分
解温度可达600℃,而且可在333℃下长期使用;在-269℃下仍不会脆裂。聚酰亚胺的力学性能优良,均苯型聚酰亚胺薄膜的拉伸强度可达170
MPa,联苯型可达400MPa,并且随温度升高变化很小。耐辐射性好,介电性能优异,化学性质稳定,抗蠕变能力强,摩擦性能优良。
日前聚酰亚胺已有20多个大品种,2001年全球消费量约2.5万t,生产厂家主要集中在美国、日本、西欧等发达国家和地区。随着航空航天、汽车,尤其是
电子电气工业的快速发展,对电子元件小型化、轻量化、高功能化和高可靠性的要求,未来几年全球对聚酰亚胺的需求将以年均10%的速度增加,展示了良好的发
展前景。
热塑性聚酰亚胺主要用于汽车发动机部件、油和气泵的盖、电子电气仪表用高温插座、连接器、印刷线路板等。
聚酰亚胺品种众多,主要有聚醚酰亚胺、聚酰胺-酰亚胺和双马来酰亚胺等。聚醚酰亚胺目前的开发趋势是引入对苯二胺结构或与其它工程塑料组成合金,提高其耐 热性,或与聚碳酸酯、聚酰胺等工程塑料组成合金提高其力学性能;聚酰胺-酰亚胺是高强度的聚酰亚胺品种,目前发展趋势是增强改性,以及同其它塑料合金化;双马来酰亚胺是以马来酰亚胺为活性基的双官能团化合物,具有与典型热固性树脂相似的流动性和可模塑性,与环氧树脂的加工和成型基本相同,是目前国内研究的
重点。为了提高聚酰亚胺的应用性能,聚酰亚胺改性与复合材料的开发与应用成为今后相当长时间内的研究与开发热点,如聚均苯酰亚胺用石墨或聚四氟乙烯填充 后,可以明显降低摩擦系数,用于汽车止推垫圈、高温刹车片、档风玻璃刮水器和飞机的发动机用轴承、轴衬和垫圈;聚酰亚胺添加玻璃纤维或硼纤维后,被成为超
强级工程塑料,用于制备喷射发动机结构部件;含硅聚酰亚胺可以赋予材料良好的溶解性、透气性、抗冲击性、耐候性、粘合性。
我国聚酰亚胺在某些领域研究和应用已经达到世界先进水平,但与发达国家相比仍有较大差距,主要体现在:规模小,目前国内最大生产装置为100 t/a,国外基本上是千吨级规模;质量差,性能不稳定,产品不同批次性能差距较大,影响应用;最为严重的是我国产品精细化程度不够,品种少,以聚均苯四甲
酰亚胺薄膜等为主,应用领域也主要是薄膜和模塑料,而且多用于军工领域,民用较少。
由于聚酰亚胺工程塑料应用领域广泛,发展前景良好,尤其在国防建设中起到举足轻重的作用,因此加快我国聚酰亚胺的研究与应用是非常重要和必要的。
针对国内外发展现状,我国应该在开发好现有品种的同时,大力发展聚醚酰亚胺、聚联苯四甲酰亚胺、热塑性聚酰亚胺和双马来酰亚胺等用量较大的主要树脂产品,推进新型聚酰亚胺材料的产业化进程。尤其要加强应用研究,如改性与复合材料的应用技术研究与推广。

moisture absorption characteristics and can lead to material degradation.
Require humidity should be less than 0.02%. Recommended drying conditions for
150 ℃, 4 hours of drying.
Melting
temperature: the general type of material 340 ~ 400 ℃; enhanced type of
material 340 ~ 415 ℃.
Mold
temperature: 107 ~ 175 ℃, the proposed mold temperature is 140 ℃.
Injection
pressure: 700 ~ 1500bar.
Injection
speed: Use as high as possible injection speed.
Machine
selection;
PEI * resin can
be molded on most standard injection molding machines. It is recommended to use
reciprocating screw injection molding machine.
The two basic
factors that should be considered when determining the size of the equipment
used to mold a particular PEI * resin component are the total injection weight
and the total projected area.
Generally, the
best results are obtained when the total injection volume (all mold cavities
plus runners and gates) is equal to 30 to 80% of the machine's capacity. When
using a large barrel, if the injection is too small, it may unnecessarily
prolong the resin retention time. If it is necessary to carry out injection
molding at higher temperatures in the appropriate temperature range, the possibility
of reducing the thermal degradation of the material usually requires a
reduction in residence time. Therefore, in order to achieve higher temperature
injection requirements, it is recommended that the minimum injection size
should be greater than 60% of the machine capacity.
After
determining the total projected area of the complete injection (all
cavities plus the flow area of the injection pressure), a 4
to 6 ton of clamping force should be provided for the projection area per
square inch in order to reduce the material's flash. Glass-reinforced resins
may require slightly higher clamping forces (an estimated one tonne of clamping
force per square inch). Wall thickness, process length and injection conditions
determine the actual required clamping force tonnage.
Barrel
Selection and Screw Design Considerations:
When processing
PEI * resin, it is usually possible to use conventional manufacturing materials
for day-compatible screws and barrels. It is recommended to use bimetallic
barrels.
According to
the screw diameter, it is best to make the aspect ratio of 20: 1, compression
ratio of 2.2: 1. In addition, it is recommended to use a short feed zone (5
segments) and a long compression zone (11 segments), while gradually
transitioning through a constant taper to a shorter metering zone (4 segments).
Compression should be done at a constant taper of a gradual transition, as
abrupt changes can lead to excessive shear and material degradation. If a
specific screw can not be selected, it is proven that a universal screw with a
aspect ratio of 16: 1 to 24: 1 and a compression ratio of 1.5: 1 to 3.0: 1 is
successful. It is recommended that you do not use PEB * resin with vent holes.
The check valve should be of the sliding reverse ring type. In the screw
metering area, the circulation gap is usually at least 80% of the cross section
of the flow area.
