ERNi-1 is intended for welding wrought and cast forms of commercially pure nickel (ASTM

B160, B161, B162 and B163) with the gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc and plasma arc

welding processes.The weld metal hasgood corrosion resistance, particularly in alkalis.

APPLICATIONS:

ERNiFeMn-Cl which has 44 percent Nickel Alloy was developed for all position gas metal arc,
|
gas tungsten arc and high speed automatic gas metal arc welding of nodular, grey,spheroidal
|
graphite and malleable cast irons to themselces or to other materials inclduing stainless
|
steel, carbon steel,low alloy steel and varous nickel alloys.Under com pressive loading Arcos
|
2216 work hardens making it ideal for bearing surfaces and as a cushioning layer for
|
hardsurfacing applications.
